Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke, born in Newport Beach, California on 22 March 1989, is among America's most renowned and richest Pole Vaulters. A picture of her track meets at 17 became viral in 2007. The result was that she became a pole vaulter. She has gained a huge social following on Instagram and Twitter. Stokke is an athlete and has a similar track record similar to Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times and others reported that Stokke didn't seek out or encourage such the attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in their book Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society identified Stokke to the cases of American soccer player Alex Morgan and Hope Solo, female athletes who they said were sexualized and their pictures framed in such a way so as to minimize their athletic successes. The authors also pointed out that Stokke's social media comments tend to be insulting, and attribute the sexualization of the process to women. Others drew parallels with Brandi Chastain's celebration after her victory at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup Final wearing a sports bra. Women's sporting moments were overshadowed by discussion about their appearance. Stokke was taken at New York by a Californian reporter for an online track and event website in the early part of 2007. With Leather, an online magazine for sports with lots of male readers, commented on Stokke's attractiveness in the May month. The article was titled Pole Vaulting: Sexy and barely legal. Matt Ufford was threatened by the photographer to take legal action if he did not take down the image. However, the article, received significant media attention and was published on several websites. Stokke's images of pole vaulting were posted on the site dedicated to her. When the photos became viral on social media, fan groups gained thousands of new followers. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. Caron wanted to complete her high school graduation in Florida. After completing her graduation in 1974, she decided to change her life through her job. Alyce was raised by a professor's sister. Family members are extremely supportive of her sister who works as an instructor at a college. Alyce has a family home in Texas because Alyce's father works for The U.S. Army. The family celebrated the 92nd birthday of their father just three years back. Alyce took to social media to share a beautiful picture of her daughter as well as acknowledge the contribution her father made for the U.S. Army. Her daughter, who has a greater interest in learning than her father, and was awarded the university's national merit scholarship in 2020, also shows an increased desire to attend the school.
