Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician well-known for her roles in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah, born to an Anglo-Indian Family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father works as a lawyer in the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as an assistant to research. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a young classical pianist, who was an avid geek. When she was 10, she was a part of a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her performing and music composition career. She was also a theatre performer in the college she attended and appeared in several stage plays organised in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. She served as the president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began performing as an infant actor acting in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in the lead role with Shiva as a leo coffee ad in 2006. Also, she appeared in the Podhigai Channel in a television show. She has performed all over India. She played a brief part at the conclusion of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham Vaisudev Menon was able to have her sing in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, then wanted her to take on the role of a female lead for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea plays Kalyani in the film which is an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed. Her husband is implicated in an affair and is blackmailed by her husband. Andrea was chosen for the part following the actresses Simran Shobana and Tabu were offered the role. The film was first released in 2010. In 2011, she agreed to perform a tiny part in the multi-starrer film of Venkatprabhu Mankatha that was released in August 2011, Annayum Rasoolum directed by Rajeeev Ravi, the romantic comedy she premiered in Malayalam in, was released on the 11th of August, 2013.
