Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. She is best known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and appeared in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Benson also appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January, 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle is her older sister, and she's an artist. Benson was born to a father who is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson's acting career has continued to flourish after the conclusion of Buffy. Benson was a part of films like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Her creative talents have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she also directed Drones (2010). Buffy states that she's identified and counted as many as 1800 Slayers with 500 who collaborate with the Scooby Gang. Slayer possibilities are being awakened when they have reached the proper age.
